An Important Message for Parents of Middle and High School Students

Please see “Read more” below for a letter to parents from Assistant Superintendent George Oslovich.

Dear Parents and Guardians of 6th - 12th grade students,

Beginning on December 5, 2016, all students in grades 6-12 will be participating in a survey about our school called the Illinois 5Essentials Survey. This survey is designed by the University of Chicago and is being used by the Illinois State Board of Education. The information this survey gathers will be used to help improve our middle and high schools.  Please know that the identity of your child will be completely confidential and only summaries of the responses will be made available to the teachers and administrators.   If you do not want your child to participate in the survey, please contact your child’s principal by Monday, December 5, 2016 and let them know of your decision.  Click on the following link for more information about the survey.  Illinois 5Essentials Survey FAQ   Thank you for your cooperation.
