District 200 will begin accepting applications for its 2012-2013 preschool program this month. In addition to the long-standing grant funded preschool program that is open to 3-5 year olds who qualify through a pre-screening process, two other program options will be available to interested parents.January 9, 2012

Parents of children who will be entering kindergarten in District 200 next fall must register them for school on Feb. 6, 7 or 9. Four informational meetings have been scheduled for those days to inform parents about the program options available for their children and to accept the required registration materials.December 5, 2011
This is the ELEVENTH consecutive year that District 200 has received the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting Award from the Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO). This recognition is for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2010. The award is widely considered to be the highest form of recognition for school district financial operations and means that District 200 has met rigorous standards for accounting practices and has demonstrated strict adherence to sound principles and practices.September 28, 2011
